Currently there are 139 Prisons in UK, 8 of them are high security such as Belmarsh , 12 of them for teenagers only, 13 of them are female only prisons while more under construction.
Only 2.7% of uk population is from Islamic background while our Muslim population in UK prisons is over 10%. Some of the Prisons have more then 23% Muslims
