Al-Khair Foundation operates four overseas schools in Kashmir that are affiliated to Al-Khair Primary & Secondary School in the UK. The affiliated schools were set up to cater for the educational needs of orphans and follow a customised syllabus that equips the children with basic skills that will allow them future progression into higher education. The education has also been adapted at these schools to allow the orphans and other children to progress themselves as well as allowing them to make a contribution to the wider community.
Currently, 500 children are being educated in these schools that are funded entirely by Al-Khair Foundation which has plans to expand given the very considerable demand that exists.
