Our Aims:
To facilitate the advancement of religious and secular education
To enhance, improve and strengthen local communities
To assist in the relief of poverty and suffering of any person who are
in need including orphans, widows and displaced people.
To provide recreational facilities and activities in the interest of
social welfare
To engage in interfaith dialogue with the aim of securing mutual
understanding and harmony between Muslims and others.
Background:
The establishment of al-Khair, has been a significant development for South
East London. Initially, Al-Khair started as an educational project, comprising
of a mere five pupils. It has, by the Grace of God, rapidly evolved into a fully
fledged primary , secondary boys as well as community centre that provides
educational, social, and ethical services to the community at large. Over
recent years it has branched out into the field of relief work, interfaith,
community cohesion and social welfare.
AL-Khair also has offices in Birmingham and Glasgow.
Al-Khair hopes to embody goodness. Al-Khair hopes to encapsulate the
words of the Prophet (Upon him peace): �the best of you is the one who
benefits mankind the most�. Al-Khair feels obliged and is honored to take on
that weighty noble mantle: that of serving the global community
